Are vampires only hurt by one species of vervain or can they be harmed by all of them, because there is over 150 known species of vervain in the world.

I just rewatched the Originals and I found the answer to my own question in the form of the Beast/Upgraded Original. The venom of the Beast is the combined venom strains of the seven royal werewolf packs making the venom more potent and giving it the ability to kill not just normal vampires but Original Vampires as well. So it depends upon both the potency of the werewolf venom and the amount of venom that was injected into the vampire, so a vampire could live up to a few hours or for a few days after being bitten or injected with werewolf venom.
I was wondering how Damon survived more that 24 hours after being bitten by Tyler? He was bitten the night of the full moon a few hours pass by then it becomes the next day, then 24 hours pass by and it becomes the next day, and finally a few more hours pass by and its around night time when Katherine arrives with Klaus’ blood/werewolf bite cure and then gives it to Damon. So how is it that Damon survived longer than any other vampire that was bitten by a werewolf? It is common knowledge that vampires die with in 24 hours of being bitten by a werewolf, so why is Damon still alive?
