What the deal with this world? From what I can remember Hope and Josie go there but it’s never really explained that much and kinda forgotten pretty quickly. Does anyone mind explaining it for me.
Just checked thank you, little concerned that Alraic has it and uses it on his students

Again not theories, just opinions.
Bruh what theory!?! I was saying that original don’t work as the first vampires because of the poor writing in the series as well as the fact that Silas and Amara? (Not entirely sure what her name) were the first vampires. Yes I talked about how some of the monsters seem vampiric not because they are immortal but have similar traits such as magic or life draining powers.
@Tommy,Klaus&Kol2012+ ah okay fair, but the we discuss the more I see that problem stems from the poor writing of the seasons.
@JesseTN346972 when said that the other monster were older I also said that they were also vampiric in nature, none of the monsters from Legacies besides the golem ( made after the Mikaelsons) are actually vampiric in nature besides the actual vampire.
Oh must have been in my head then
I swear I recall Silas throwing one of them like a rag doll. Guess my main issue is the poor story writing, but it is still irritating that Julie kept on introducing characters that could be classed as vampiric into the series that were more powerful and older than the Mikaelsons.
you do have a point and yeah the maker of the show did that a lot, but it still bugs me because in the books the old ones are 6000 years old and even in other vampire stories the vampires are always way older the a thousand years old which kinda makes them more intimidating and honestly more interesting.
The Mikaelsons as characters are perfect, honestly the best in the series but I feel they don’t work as being the first Vampires. The reason for this does sound stupid but it’s because they aren’t old enough, as the writers kinda gave the proper old one age and title to Silas and Amara who are technically the first vampires. Even when the Mikaelsons meet Silas he beats them pretty easily and he’s not even at full strength, which kinda takes away from the idea that the Mikaelsons are the first and most powerful vampires even though that’s not the case.
Yeah, the curse Ester put on Klaus is what caused him to need Doppelgänger blood to make more Hybrids as it was an important part of breaking the curse in the first place.
