In The Rager, Hayley mentions that she had helped Tyler break his sire-bond and that one of Klaus' hybrids was a former member of the pack she was part of at the time.
In Alone with Everybody, Hayley takes Klaus and Hope there, as she trusts the pack to keep them safe. She reunites with Hollis and they reminisce of the past and he tells her about the pack going through tough times. He also reveals to her that Kayla McInnis activated her werewolf gene.
Hayley talks to Kayla and they go to a place in the woods where packmembers who have triggered their curse place items that belonged to the victims on one of the trees. After Kayla places an identification badge on a tree, Klaus and Hayley see that the victim, Andrew Fash, was a member of the Kingmaker Land Development Inc., and it's revealed that Lucien has been responsible for much of the pack's decimated numbers.
Within this pack there is a tradition that when a werewolf triggers their curse they take a possession of the person they'd killed and put it in a group of trees in the woods.
