Both Hybrids run into eachother declaring to be the ultimate species. All out brawl! (Klaus doesn't have poisonous werewolf bite and there both a little over a thousand years old) Who would win? You decide!

Klaus is all about control, he likes things to go his way, being in wolf form would make him lose control just like any other wolf (except cresent moons) though he does get to remember. Klaus' mind is one of his greatest assets.
That would require that his opponents be foolish enough to fall for such a trap and then there is the fact it takes hours to transform, plenty of time for Mikael (who is tolerant of bites), to stake him or for Dahlia to come with a dozen effective spells.
Contradiction then, Tyler and Mason took hours to turn (at least that is what I remember) That's the show for you lol
Or maybe its different with the many bloodlines of werewolves.
Are you sure because when Tyler was looking at Mason's transformation on the laptop, it lasted at least an hour, transformation does increase in speed after each time and becomes less painful, this is how hybrids broke their sire bond, I might be wrong about the time length since its been ages since I saw that episode but I am sure the first transformations takes awhile. Either way, transformation takes some time, which would allow someone to take advantage. I will check that particular episode later, season two I believe.
Mason stated that it takes hours but it gets faster with each passing transformation. I don't know if it was because of his hybrid nature or after breaking all his bones 100 times, maybe a combination of both, but when he was captured by the Travelers he transformed in seconds.
Yep, well after 100 times, it sure should be fast.
Basically if it is not the hybrid nature that speeds it up then even Klaus would still take awhile to change as he has only been a wolf twice if I recall.
The video Tyler and Caroline watch of Mason's transformation during season two starts at 6:04PM and continues right up until 11:59PM.
The pain of the transformation doesn't begin straight away. The pain begins at around 8:00PM and then there are intervals of pain, getting progressively worse, all the way through to the end of the video. At the end however (when they stop watching), it should be noted that Mason hasn't even fully, or partially transformed yet. Unless my eyes decieve me.
