Elijah Mikaelson is a character of The Originals novel series. He was born as an untapped witch until he was turned into an Original Vampire by his mother alongside his siblings and father.
After traveling to New Orleans' French Quarter in the early part of the 18th century, he made his mission to give his family a home of their own and earn a place on the council that consisted of witches and werewolves.
Elijah is a member of the Mikaelson Family and an unnamed family of witches.
