Elisabeth R. Finch is an American television writer, best known for her work on the HBO vampire series, True Blood. Elisabeth often works on projects with her writing partner, Kate Barnow.
Early career[]
Finch began her career by writing a short film entitled Looking for My Brother. She, along with Barnow, were then hired as writer's assistants on True Blood for the second season. Her first writing credit for that show came with the tenth episode of that season.
In a column she said that she left The Vampire Diaries because of harassment on set.[1] However, the column has since been removed in the light of her interview from 2022, in which she admitted that she lied about her cancer diagnosis and other details from her life, including having an abortion, losing a kidney, and undergoing a knee replacement due to misdiagnosis, [2] allegations that her brother abused her as a child, that her brother died by suicide, and that she cleaned up the remains of a friend who was killed in the Tree of Life synagogue mass shooting.
