“ | Rebekah: I'm in a bit of a bind here. So, tell me; how exactly does one go about breaking out of this joint? Cassie: You can't break out. Once you're in, there's no leaving this place. Rebekah: That's ridiculous! Surely someone's gotten out? Cassie: Sure. But not alive. |

Gonna Set Your Flag On Fire is the tenth episode of the second season of The Originals and the thirty-second episode of the series overall.
Summary[]
WHEN TWO SIDES COLLIDE — With Finn on the loose and hell bent on revenge, Klaus brings Cami to the safe house as he and Hayley return to the compound. Hayley and Jackson devise a plan to bring the vampires and werewolves together to consider a truce, but tensions grow when Finn places a spell on the compound, trapping the two sides together. Meanwhile, Elijah grows concerned when Rebekah fails to show up at the safe house, prompting Klaus to confront Kol for answers. Lastly, after accepting her mother's offer to jump into a new body, Rebekah turns to former Harvest girl Cassie for help when she finds herself trapped inside an insane asylum. Marcel and Davina also appear.
Plot[]
Klaus drives Camille to the house to get her safely away from Finn and the danger she'd be in, while also revealing Hope is still alive. Klaus is going back to the compound with Hayley to take care of the situation, and he wants Camille to talk to Elijah and help him with his problem.
Rebekah is strapped to a bed in her new body, and is forced to swallow pills. She becomes unconscious, but she's really faking it so that the guy frees her arms and legs. She puts the pills under a pillow, and looks around the house.
Finn and Mikael seem to be on the same side, but Finn puts him under a spell with the same magic as Papa Tundé.
Hayley brings the wolves into the compound so that they and the vampires can talk about a deal.
Rebekah meets Cassie, the Harvest girl whom Esther inhabited. She says no one can get out, not alive. When a witch is broken by magic, they get sent to the Dowager Fauline Cottage, and live there forever. The people in charge force witches to take lobelia flower pills to make it hard to concentrate and use magic.
Finn locks everyone inside the compound using magic bound to a dark object—Mikael's body. Kol and Davina work on disabling it for sixty seconds, because they can't completely undo it.
Klaus knows Hayley and Elijah were intimate, and Hayley decides to be completely honest with Jackson. He gets upset at first, and hours later, he says he still wants to marry Hayley.
Rebekah wants to use the lettered tiles to send a distress signal, and needs Cassie's help. Eventually, there's a message, saying "Who are you?" Rebekah says her name, and asks the question back.
Finn uses magic to make the vampires very hungry, and things get testy in the compound.
Klaus finds out from Elijah that Angelica Barker isn't possessed by Rebekah, and when Kol and Davina free the werewolves, and he leaves Kol inside with the hungry vampires. Because Davina pleads with Marcel, he advises Kol to stay hidden.
Finn finds Esther, but she's a vampire now. He calls her a hypocrite, and puts her under the same magic Mikael is under.
Rebekah keeps seeing a ghost, and she follows her to a bedroom. There's a girl unconscious within a glass coffin. Then Rebekah is locked out of the room again.
In the end, the lettered tiles answers, "Freya."
