Gudren was the maid of Baron von Swartzchild's daughter, Katherine.

Character History

After Katherine was told she was likely going to die, Gudren fetched Klaus, a vampire who everyone in the village called evil. Klaus turned Katherine into a vampire, and, not knowing this, the Baron later had Gudren come with Katherine to Florence, Italy. Katherine fell in love with Stefan and Damon Salvatore but was brokenhearted when their rivalry was too strong. She decided to fake her death and Gudren helped her, fashioning another necklace for Katherine.

Behind the Scenes

In TV series, Gudren was replaced as Katherine's maid by Emily Bennett.
