Season Three[]
In Heart of Darkness, Mary was killed by Kol in his attempt to prevent Damon from finding out where his bloodline originated. This house was cluttered, dark and was full of paintings. Mary was found dead and hanging in her room by Elena and Damon where the two were ambushed by Kol. Kol attacked Damon for revenge for staking him with a baseball bat. Elena, however, was off-limits thanks to Klaus.
