Hey Cori, what's up? I just wanted to let you know that I've found that user that has released spoilers about upcoming episodes of The Originals. Their name is @klaronon1 (http://www.twitter.com/klaronon1)
You can pretty much audition any kind of species but the main species are going to be humans, vampires, and sometimes witches and alchemists. As for the vampires, it's mostly going to be Turnbloods and Purebloods. You could create a vampire like the ones from TVD and TO but they're not going to be that many.
This was the best one I could actually managed to make and you actualy put Danielle in it not Zendaya...But I have been wanting to make a Ricky Whittle and Danielle Campbell one, I just can't find the right episode stills to use...
Since you weren't after anything in particular, I figured that best friends tend to take a lot of selfies together :P This one's a little grainy, but that's because I took the pictures from instagram :/ If you reduce the size of it, it'll probably look a little sharper.
The Shay and Konstantinos picture will be a bit harder, as you said. I've got some homework that I need to get on top of right now, but I'll take a shot at editing that other picture sometime tomorrow :)
I want to make a different suggestion! Let's see if this could be easier. Now I planned to had this made December this year but now that the new photos for the wedding episode came out. If the idea that I first suggested is too hard, could you try any of the I'll Wed You in the Golden Summertime (Delena) photos and see if one of them would be easier for you?
But to remind you again, you do not have to be in a rush to get this done.
Hey again. It's been a couple days, so I just wanted to let you know that I *am* working on it. I found a perfect photo of Konstantinos and a woman with bleached hair that I'm trying to photoshop Shay into (rather, I'm trying to photoshop dark hair over the bleached blonde so that the woman could pass as Shay). Editing hair isn't my strong point, unfortunately. But I'll get there (and the whole point of this is that I really want the practice). So yeah, I just wanted to say that I haven't forgotten :P
I'll probably get the I'll Wed You in the Golden Summertime photos finished first, though.
Thanks(: I forgot to ask you this before but how did you get the skin tone to match in the photo from your old message? I can change colors when it comes to clothing, I'm still practicing hair colors but skin tones have always been tricky.
I use the dodge and burn tools. The dodge brightens and lowers contrast, and the burn tool darkens and increases contrast. That's from what I can tell, at least. I'm an amateur who's never really learnt properly; only experimented with different tools to see what effect they have on images. Anyway, I pulled up Danielle's face as a skin tone reference and dodged all up and down the woman's arm until it looked like a similar shade. Then I just fiddled around with image brightness and saturation until I got it right. In the end I used the blur tool to blend her face and neck :)
You're welcome :) But don't speak too soon, haha. I'm very close to giving up on that other photo I mentioned. Her hair in that project is so tricky :/ When I have the time, I think I'll go and watch some YT tutorials to try to figure it out.
Okay, here it is (it's a larger file, so I added it as a thumbnail):
I've darkened her skin to a tan, and now her hair just needs to match Shay's colour. I'm sure there must be a quick way to change a person's hair, but I guess that's something that I'll have to look into for next time.. Anyway, good luck with it, and with your writing! I'd love to read it when it's done :)
Ahhh yes that is exactly what I've been trying to do!
Except I have no idea how you pulled that off. I tried creating a new layer, painting brown over her hair and then lowering the opacity, but it always turned out this horrible greyish colour ): But I really want to learn how to edit hair. Could you please tell me how you did it? :)
I use Pixlr Editor. I use the lasso tool and trace over what I want to hightlight. When I have everything I wanted traced, it starts to look like connect the dots and then I leave it like that and go up to "Adjustment" up at the top and use either the Brightness & Contrast or Color Balance or sometimes I just use both to change the color of the hair, lighten it, or darken it. (I hoped I explained this well!)
But those aren't the only coloring tools up there, it has many different things on Pixlr Editor. So you can go around and experiment with different things(:
I've used Gimp for everything so far, but it looks like both of these editing programs have the same tools and things (: You explained it perfectly, thank you so much! I've never touched Color Balance before. I've only ever tried Hue and Saturation, which is only useful if I want to change someone's hair bright blue or pink or something :P
I might download that Pixlr mobile app. It probably won't have everything (I guess it'd be tricky to use things like the lasso tool on just a touch phone screen...), but I'll still be able to experiment with those colouring tools. So thanks again :)
Hi, Corri. I left you the same message on Reign Wiki.
The Vampire Diaries Wiki and The 100 Wiki are making something called "CW Family Week". One of The 100 Wiki admins left me this message. I like the idea. Will Reign Wiki join us? This is the concept.
In that week(s?) we'd promote sibling or family relationships all over the network ( The100, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Arrow, ...). We wanna do this to encourage people to support the show (even during hiatus) and that way we can unite our own fandom while also endorsing people to watch other shows that also have great family dynamics.
What it would mean is that we (for example) have a family page (in our case for example the Blake Siblings, in yours maybe the Salvatore brothers) as our featured article, we encourage people to make fanarts and edits and we could also try a trend on twitter, among other things. For us, this project could tie in with The 100 Promo Project, our hiatus project we set up to get people to watch the show starting S3.
We chose to focus on family because that seems to be something with the least trouble over. I think there'll be less drama then if we have say a ship-week. We hope you consider doing a collab with us over this and of course this does not have to be limited to wikia. We can have all sorts of fandoms on the CW shows involved. The more the better!
