Definitely! I think he's the best character in the show. Henry is also my other favorite. He's kind of plain/ordinary, but he's a little curious/mysterious at the same time. There's a lot more to him that meets the eye.
Maybe it's just me, but this role doesn't fit Geena Davis. Her acting is kinda stiff and a little stale. But again, maybe that's just me.
I think what the disconnect about the show in general for is that it's missing something. The original was bold, it was crass, it was fiesty, it was fun, it was dare I say, revolutionary at least for that time. Not just that, but it was creepy as hell. There are people to this day that still refuse to watch the movie and or the ones who did watch it still have nightmares about it. Pazuzu in the movie had flare, charisma, humor, and personality. So much so that you were kinda rooting for the Devil because he was so entertaining. Frankly, the TV version of Pazuzu is dull and underwhelming. This is why IMO they set themselves up for failure by making it a sequel of the original and not a "spin-off" or reboot that established a new canon, a new story, and new characters that weren't directly connected to the original canon. By continuing the original story, they set a high standard for themselves and the pressure to preserve the integrity/legacy of the original and match it's impact (which would have been difficult but not entirely impossible had it been separate from the original) was real AF.
So........Branson's life sucks. Sure, he's a nasty predator, who at the VERY LEAST drove a girl to suicide (if not killed her himself......plus, did you notice that her name in S1 was Olivia, yet he referred to a "Caitlyn" when Brooke called him on it? Now, that's either a massive continuity error, or Branson has more than one victim.), but that was kind of excessive in terms of brutality.............and in the creep's defence, he DID tell Weirdo Psych Teacher to run in the school, rather than beg her to save HIM. Thus proving he CAN think of someone other than himself. At least on occasion.
At any rate, I'm thinking Kieran, Emma, or possibly Stavo (though that's doubtful).
Kieran's always been sketchy, and continues to be.
Emma (who is my number one draft pick) is the only one of the group who was separated from them all for months, and then the SECOND she came back, the weirdness started, which all appeared to be fixated on Audrey (and I can't think of ANYONE else who would be so obsessed with Audrey; to Emma, she was her hero, the one who saved her.......if, in her time away tried to research Piper, to come to terms with who she was and WHY she did what she did, and stumbled across letters that seemed to point to Audrey being involved in the horror show that her life became........that could easily be enough to tip an unstable person completely over the edge into total insanity.). Throw in her constant manic freak outs, and her "sightings" of the killer, (who nobody else ever sees), who appears to be fixated on her (AGAIN), when nothing we've seen outside of Emma's own experiences tracks with that..........well, it doesn't point to anything good.
Stavo? Stavo's got a LOT of weirdness pointing to him, but he's felt like a massive red herring since Day 1, which is why I think its going to turn out that he's just a strange guy with an obsession with horror. Like Noah, except darker.
The others? Brooke, Noah, Zoe, Miguel, Hayley, Quinn.......none of them are possible. We KNOW that Brooke wouldn't kill Jake, and she was somewhere else entirely when some of the things happened. Same with Noah. Zoe? She seems like some lonely girl, a little jealous of Audrey, and thus acting bitchy. Nothing more. Miguel doesn't make sense to me, at all. Hayley seems like a typical high school bitchy gossip girl. Likes to talk, but doesn't think actions have cosequences, and far too silly to plan anything like this out. Quinn? Again, doesn't make sense. Especially given how he seemingly paid Jake to burn down those houses for the insurance money (at least, that's what I'm assuming was being implied) and actually got angry and texted him abuse when Jake appeared to have taken the money and ran off.
Even Eli (who I am more and more convinced is a legitimate psychopath) doesn't seem to have any reason to do any of this. He's fake, insincere in just about everything he says and does, and all kinds of disturbing, but he doesn't appear to have any personal investment in this situation, and thus wouldn't bother to set it all up. I mean, the only reason I think he's going after Emma is that Kieran had her, so he wants her. That's it.
And obviously Audrey's sketchy, cold-blooded, and altogether ruthless when she has to be (seriously, I like her a lot, but that girl has issues; and its WAY too early in the season for her to lay all her cards out on the table like that. She HAS to still be hiding things. I mean, she freaking attacked Noah, kidnapped him, and scared him to death trying to find out what he knew! Would a relatively innocent person do that? Or anyone remotely normal? And that's not even taking into account that earlier in the season she almost attacked Noah to prevent him from seeing the video of her with Jake.......I mean, there would have been no way to explain that away, he would have had to die, and SHE ALMOST WENT THROUGH WITH IT. Right up until she saw that the recording was erased. Seriously. Issues.)...........but she's far from crazy, and so the whole "Split personality harassing her" thing wouldn't work.
My favourite characters of season one were Brooke, Noah and sometimes Audrey.
By secret accomplice, I meant one that Audrey did not know about. I think it was Kieran that attacked Will and Piper. I don't think that Audrey actually killed anybody.
I think it might be Seth, a temporary alliance with Mayor Maddox to get rid of Jake, who let's be honest, was a sociopath. If you change Seth with Kieran as Piper's accomplice, that would make some sense.
I actually like the theory that Brandon James did not commit the original murders. That maybe his brother committed them or even Daisy/Maggie. Or like I said before, Sheriff Acosta and Daddy Duvall.
Kieran being an or the accomplice of Piper would be a nice twist but at least on my end, Seth being an or the accomplice of Piper wouldn't be too much of a shocker since he either didn't knew his laptop had the malware and ended up being like Noah said "Nina's innocent pawn" was really spying on everyone for Piper or for his own reasons but like I said, that's just my end on things. But what I'm certain is that the malware on Seth's laptop while also probably providing intel to Piper, leads all the way back to Nina's blackmail business
I strongly feel it was Seth who might have killed Jake, just that Quinn and Seth might have only agreed to get rid of him like scare him off and stuff but Seth went the extra mile and killed Jake, and that's just me based on Quinn's reactions on his 2 appearances in the season so far.
That would be an excellent shocker wouldn't it? If Troy not only probably did the original killings but reveals himself this season as the killer, Maggie kinda looks and gives that too much innocent vibe like to actually do the killings on my end of things but hey, we all get fooled so it's a possibility, Kevin reliving the killings as possibly a way to deal with it besides the drinking makes sense and Miguel might have been there only to help him, kinda like Miguel being the Stu ( http://scream.wikia.com/wiki/Stu_Macher ) to Kevin's Billy and while since you brought it up, I'll also take it as a possibility but I'd need to see more about Kevin and Miguel's relationship before actually taking into consideration, just a safety measure I guess
