  • Klaus is standing in the courtyard of the compound holding Hope, talking to her quietly. He promises her, his “Littlest Wolf,” that he will do right by her. He hugs her closely to his chest as Elijah interrupts the moment he was having with his daughter. Klaus asks Elijah what he wants and Elijah tells him that he knows better than to ask Klaus for his forgiveness for killing Marcel so he tells Klaus that he had no choice and they protect the family no matter the cost. Klaus turns and faces Elijah and asks him if he thinks him unaware of the heavy burden of protecting the family. Elijah tells him no, but this time the burden may be too much for Klaus to bear.

Kol has a table full of weapons laid out and tells Klaus that Freya has been tracking his former sirelings. Elijah reminds his brothers that the deed to the compound is in Freya’s name so no vampire can enter. Kol complains about hiding inside while Klaus’ enemies gather at the gates. Klaus smiles at him and tells him that if he wants to die, let them come. The three brothers hear a noise and head towards the center of the compound. Their enemies swarm in from all sides and from top to bottom. In seconds, Klaus, Elijah, and Kol are surrounded.

Marcel walks in saying that he never thought it would come to this but the Mikaelsons made the choice for him like they always do. Klaus looks wide-eyed at Marcel and quietly says, “Marcel. How?” Marcel answers with more questions asking “how are we in your home?” and “how am I not a rotting corpse?” He stares at Klaus as Klaus looks right back at him saying that he thought his friend was dead. Klaus asks him to send all these people away so that they can talk, just the two of them. Marcel tells Klaus that if he hadn’t been one step ahead of him he’d be dead at the bottom of the river. Elijah then tries to take the focus off of Klaus by telling Marcel that his anger is with him, not Klaus. But Marcel tells Elijah that he has learned that if you take on one Mikaelson, you’re taking on all of them.

Marcel then turns to the crowd around them saying that these are Klaus’ sirelings and they are here to bear witness to the fall of the Mikaelsons. Kol tries desperately to reason with Marcel by telling him that Davina wouldn’t want this; it would break her heart to see Marcel like this. Marcel grabs Kol and bites his neck then throws him far across the compound. Klaus watches with wide eyes and whispers, “Kol!” Both Elijah and Klaus rush at Marcel but he throws them off easily. They keep attacking, throwing punches but Marcel flings Klaus into a cement beam, stunning Klaus. Elijah continues to fight Marcel but he takes one of Elijah’s arms and twists it backwards and bites him on the arm as Klaus watches. Slowly Klaus stands, his eyes turning golden and his fangs emerging; the blood rippling beneath his eyes. He charges at Marcel only to be stopped by Rebekah who, at the last second, jumped between the two. She commands them both to stop. She tells Klaus to take their brothers and go so Klaus gathers Kol and Elijah and speeds away.

Klaus and Elijah arrive at Lucien’s apartment carrying Kol between them. They lay Kol on the couch, his breathing is heavy and labored. He tells Klaus that he’s going to die and Klaus counters with “you’re not going to die.” Kol laughs and asks “isn’t that what you said to Finn and Cami?” Klaus shakes his head at that and has the idea that since Lucien made his venom from the seven werewolf packs, maybe that’s the key to an antidote. Freya isn’t optimistic as none of them will be alive to solve that problem. As it stands, Freya is poisoned, Rebekah is hexed, Kol and Elijah are bitten. Freya tells Klaus that the three cures they need may take years to find and none of them will make it through the day.

Elijah is suffering alone when Klaus approaches him. They agree that this has not been their finest moment. Elijah asks Klaus to please take care of Hayley. Klaus has tears in his eyes as he whispers that he promises he will. Elijah goes on to blame himself for everything that’s happened. Klaus tells him that he can’t do this without him. The brothers tearfully hug one another as Elijah tells Klaus that he needs to be strong because they need him.

Rebekah calls Klaus and tells him that his sirelings want his blood and Marcel was ready to let them tear apart the city to find him. But she’s gotten Marcel to consider an alternative: Klaus needs to stand trial for his sins. Klaus tells her that there is no way he will stand before a jury of those who hate him the most. She tells him that if he doesn’t they will hunt him down and show no mercy to anyone standing in their way. Just then, Hayley walks in with Hope and Klaus’ gaze lands on Hope. He hangs up the phone and goes over to Hope and touches her hand.

Klaus tells his family about Rebekah’s plan.  Elijah tells him that it isn’t a trial but suicide. He tells him to take Hayley and Hope and get out of the city but Hayley won’t hear of it; she refuses to leave. Freya comes up to Klaus with what may be a way to save all of them. Klaus tells her that he will move the world to make it happen. Freya tells him that she needs time so, to save the family, Klaus must go stand trial but he must come out of that trial alive.

Klaus puts an envelope with “Hope” written on the front into his daughter’s diaper bag. He looks at Hope in her playpen when Hayley sees him and insists that it is too dangerous; she should go with him. He tells her no because it’s him that they want. He goes on to apologize to Hayley for taking Hope from her then asks Hayley to take care of her.

Klaus meets Rebekah at the entrance to the compound. She asks him if he’s ready as he examines the marks of the curse on her wrist. She tells him that for Freya’s plan to work she can’t go mad and he can’t die. He reminds her with a smile that she once said that he could talk his way out of hell. They embrace and hold hands as they head toward the center of the Mikaelson compound and Klaus’ trial.

Klaus shoulders his way through people to where he finds Marcel sitting on a makeshift throne. Marcel stands and calls for silence. Klaus says loudly that he has nothing to hide and if Marcel wishes to put him on trial for his many horrific sins to go on. The crowd cheers and pulls a crate over and forces Klaus to stand up on it. Marcel accuses him of being the sire to a thousand years worth of angry people and asks Klaus how it feels to be this hated. Klaus remains silent with a small smile on his lips. Marcel demands that he look at the people; finally Klaus complies. Marcel tells the stories of a few of the angry vampires looking up at Klaus. Klaus listens to each story, keeping that stoic smile on his face. Finally, Klaus bursts outs saying that yes, his sins were terrible indeed but they taught the world to fear him and that fear protected his family. Marcel says that he doesn’t want to hear about family from Klaus as Klaus once said that Marcel was part of their family. Klaus reminds Marcel that he took him in; made him all that he is. Marcel says that Klaus made every vampire there in his image: angry, paranoid, merciless. He accuses Klaus of making them into vampires, then abandoning them. Marcel then states, “And for that, you must pay.” The crowd cheers in agreement.

Rebekah stands in the center and yells “enough!” Marcel lets her defend Klaus but she suddenly concedes; tells Marcel that he is right. Klaus says, “Rebekah!” She says to everyone that she wasn’t being honest. Klaus begs her to stop and tells her that she isn’t well, the curse has poisoned her mind. Marcel demands that Rebekah be allowed to continue speaking. She tells the crowd the awful things Klaus has done to his siblings and that he ruins everything he touches. Marcel has heard enough and asks the crowd if they have come to a decision. The crowd starts yelling wildly.

Klaus yells “enough!” and they all fall silent. Klaus tells Marcel that he is disappointed in him and he feels sorry for him for having to use his sick sister because that’s not the mark of a true leader. Klaus points out that Marcel is clearly outraged by Davina’s death. Klaus continues to flaunt Davina’s death to Marcel and reminds him that in the end, she defied even him. Klaus then says that maybe Davina’s death was Marcel’s fault. Klaus turns to the crowd and tells them that he did indeed murder their loved ones. He tells them that each one of them is at this trial because he willed it to be so. Their immortality is a gift from him and a debt that they can never repay; it is one that far offsets all of his supposed crimes. He tells them “I owe you nothing.” He says the scales still remain in his favor and in the end they will all know that he won. They will remember him, Klaus Mikaelson, as their maker.

Rebekah then bursts out saying that death is too good for him. She asks Marcel to make him suffer and to let that be his fate. The crowd screams “torture him!” Marcel stands, Papa Tunde’s blade in hand and sentences him to a fate worse than death. Marcel says to Klaus that this is for Davina, Diego, Thierry, Gia, Cami and the boy he used to be- the boy Klaus once called his son- and jabs the blade into Klaus’ heart. Marcel then bricks Klaus away while he is the anchor for his family to cling to as Hayley searches for cures for all of them.

    • Wow! It's long :0 I don't have the time to read it now, but as as I am done, I will post it - with some photos - and you can let me know what you think? Either way, thank you.

    • I know it's incredibly long! You wouldn't believe how much Klaus I cut out too! His trial speech went on forever...

Why don't our edit numbers go up when we write an article? I've written quite a few but nothing goes up except badges and I don't care about those. Aren't we editing the whole article?

        Loading editor
    • Edit numbers? They always go up - thats the only way to get badges...

  • I'm going to type the finale in sections on your wall in case my computer crashes. I tried typing on my Word program and copy and paste a small section to see what it would do but it messed up the formatting. The only thing I'm concerned about is this way does show you misspelled words.

If you have a better idea, let me know:)

    • Never mind! I figured out what I was doing wrong on Word! Yay I feel better now:)

  • Hi Rachel! I just wanted you to know that I have literally been working on the article most of the day. It's going to be really long! I hope that's ok! I know you said long but... I'm a detailed writer so things I write are ususally longer than other peoples summaries.

Just wanted you to know that I have been working:)

    • I know what kind of writer you are, that's why I asked you to do this - and detailes is great :) If you get too wild, I would just correct you, no problem.

But you don't have to work on that all day long, you know. You can take your time.

    • Ok. I was trying to kinda hurry just to get season 3 done. On Gather Up the Killers is that all you wanted to say? Oh and I was looking at a section of Klaus and Caroline. Are you in charge of that page?

        Loading editor
    • "In charge"? No, No. I am In charge only of myself. Everyone edit wherever they want, whenever they want. I just like their pair - so I edit there a lot. And on Klaus's page, Gather Up the Killers - is nowhere near done. But whats there is a start. Better than nothing, I guess.

  • the twitter account is '@tvd_season 7'. virtually al the spoilers from that account are correct. And besides, they have been foreshadowing the wedding since 8x03. it will definitely happen, but that account said that there will be a massacre and most of the guests die, meaning that the wedding will probably be interrupted.

    • Well, that's don't really comforting at the moment. But thank you for trying. Man, I am literally crying right now. If Steroline is end game, that mean there is no season 5 for TO, and that mean no more Klaus :( :( :(

  • Hello Klaroliner7,

A couple of users/an anon are concerned about you deleting information from pages, and also adding codes to pages. Please be careful when you edit in the future.

    • You talking about Matt page, right? because I promise you, it was a huge mistake. My heart stopped when I saw what I did... I undid it right away. I didn't edit it in source mode. It won't happen again.

    • Don't worry, mistakes happen. You're a dedicated user; I wouldn't block you without valid reason. This was just a mistake edit, I've done some of those so don't worry :) .

    • Thank you :) And FYI, I really try to work on my grammar. I get better every day.

  • Hi Klaroliner7 (Rachel),

I wanted to ask if for future nickname edits you can, in the edit summary, you indicate the episode in which the nickname was taken from. This is to protect you as it seems lately that a couple anons have questioned the nickname and whether or not it is true. This will help to validate the nicknames and if questioned make the person searching the for the name easier to find.

Thanks and keep up the good work. Happy Editing :)

    • I tend to agree with Jolsarygt here. 6 time over the course of 2 hours can be seen as suspicious, especially if it is minor edits such as adding a single character link or formatting/spacing etc. (in your latter edits).

Multiple Upload does save loads of time, I do recommend that (I've just it several times).

    • Ahh... didn't think about that. Sorry. I was trying to finish it as fast as possible, and didn't want to fuck up the page. Well, I am done now. State your opinion's whenever.

    • Well I thought a user added Cami and klaus at first. I know Cami is dying this episode so it's probably going to be the last photo we get of her and it's a nice one of them smiling together

        Loading editor
    • Ahhh... I get where you are coming from. But really, those photos change from the minute the episode's page is created until the episode aired. And if I'm being honest, I really hate Cami - no offence, and it's not because I am a Klaroliner, it's because she is boring as hell - and all the episode is about her. So really, why does the main photo need to be as well?
