At this point the kindest thing to do would be to make it so that TO was all a hex induced nightmare Niklaus suffered.
If I were given control from the get go, I probably would have followed the faction style that the first season tried to do more. Vampire gangs, witch covens, etc.
Obviously would actually take the time to remember established canon. The redemption arc wouldn't be a thing, if any of the Originals changed it would just be something that happened, not something someone forced.
Kol would still be around (Finn too if in a hypothetical world I got a hole of everyone soon enough) but daggered, released later. More actual emphasis on the family 'drama' (while doing my damnedest to avoid melodrama)
Also try for a dark humor type thing, because as is TO takes itself way too seriously.
Ha I love it! You, Killer, Kev, and HumanforLife would make some badass writers... you know what at this point most people could actually write tremendously better than the current writers. And likewise, no redemption because a redemption arc is honestly a fallacy and having a baby or a lover to be the reason why you are trying to reedem yourself is not redemption. You can't pout the onus of redemption on another human being other than yourself. It would actually make more sense for the characters to focus on accountability and restrategizing (so that they'll have fewer enemies and more allies) based on past mistakes than actually trying to be nicer.. Idk just me. Good discusion, though.
So, we're a few episodes in now, and I'm wondering where you stand at this point, given the increasingly sketchy things she's been doing. Are you still thinking that she's not as involved as she's being made out to be (for a twist later on), or is she full-on crazy?
idk what to think of that freaking SPN finale. It was good until like the last 10 min. And its not that i have a problem not killing amara, but its just the segway into next season. And freaking castiel, crowley and rowena just felt there
as i told toe knee, how the heck is sending amara to hell going to solve the freaking problem? She will just escape it, they have a better shot of locking her in lucifers cage.
also i dont like how they are limiting gods power lately, he's basically saying there is this natural order so I think there is a being before him making the rules and we will meet said person at a later time
*Kol mentioned in season 2 that the white oak ash daggerspell couldn't be replicated, however, Aya seemed to have one in which the Original slumbers similar to the effect of the daggers but is able to feel the environment around them. It is possible that Kol meant the exact spell and the spell used with Aya's stake was a different variation of the spell.
*Freya said in the prophecy she saw that the siblings will fall by friend, foe and family HOWEVER she fails to see who is the friend, foe and family is, but it should be noted seeing the future is unclear since it could change at any given moment.
how are they not continuity errors?−
*Characters often make decisions that don't make sense plot wise.
Yes it does. That's how prophecies work, they don't give you all of the information.
A continuity error. That's also completely different that the statement you put up. That's not a lie, that's the writers forgetting something. Which is why Davina's statement about vampire blood being used to make the Originals is still up there, but Davina saying Kara tried to murder her isn't.
Hey Sam, I read your speech on 'Alone with Everybody' and I thought I'd come over and give you a much deserved compliment.
It was extremely well written, and hit a lot of great points. This point in particular was a personal favorite: "In short on that, the writers have confused the 'giving birth' aspect of motherhood with the 'actually raised and developed strong familial relationship' aspect of motherhood, combined with treating Hope's memory as if it's at an adult level."
