Season Five

In 500 Years of Solitude, Nadia brought Mia to see Katherine in order to teach her how to do the Passenger spell that would allow her to enter Nadia's body. In exchange, Nadia lured Stefan and Elena to an old abandoned house filled with Travelers so that they could collect their doppelgänger blood. After Katherine had cast the Passenger spell to possess Elena's body, Mia and Nadia called her to activate her.

In The Devil Inside, Mia instructed Nadia to get Katherine's body so that she could make the spell permanent. During this ritual, Mia revealed that Travelers don't have access to traditional magic, so they have to "improvise." Mia was able to complete the spell, effectively giving Katherine permanent control of Elena's body. When Mia asked Nadia for her payment, Katherine quickly ripped her heart out, claiming that Mia was a loose end when Nadia voiced her displeasure at Katherine killing her.

Mia seemed to have an attitude and spoke her mind. She also seemed rather impatient.

Physical Appearance

Mia had long, brunette hair, navy blue eyes and had a slim build with a short stature. She wore dark colored clothing with a long-chained necklace.

  • Mia (Hebrew: מיה) is a feminine name. It means "my", "wished for child", "rebellion" or "bitter". [1]

  • Mia was the Traveler who taught Katherine the spell which allowed her to possess Elena's body, and said the trigger words to call Katherine forth.
  • With The Other Side's collapse and Hell destroyed, she either found peace or went to a dimension similar to Hell.
