Nia is a gorgon who made her debut in the fourteenth episode of Template:Legacies.
Gorgons are a rare, supernatural species thought not to exist and Nia and her family are the known gorgons to exist. Though Nia was taken by Triad Industries and forced to do as they asked, it remains unknown what happened to her family.

- Petrification: Like all gorgons, Nia can literally petrify almost any living creature once eye contact is made; M.G. and Landon seemed immune to Nia's petrification because of their supernatural nature (i.e. being a vampire and phoenix respectivly). Gorgons can apparently willfully turn such petrified statues back into flesh, returning their victims to life.
- Snake Controll: Nia seemed to be able to command snakes to an unknown extant, seeing as she ordered a snake to break M.G.'s neck.
- Limited Shapeshifting: Nia could transform her hair into what appeared to be living snakes.

- Nia is a feminine given name with multiple origins. It is a Welsh variant of "Niamh", an Irish name meaning "bright". Nia is also a Swahili name meaning "purpose".[1]
