In Beautiful Mistake, Aya is sent to take Rebekah down and bring her back to New Orleans. Aya slits Rebekah's throat thus kills Rebekah in Eva's body. Rebekah then wakes up in her true body. Aya and many members of The Strix tries to take her down but failed miserably against the most powerful female vampire, although Rebekah was very weakened at the time due to not having blood for months. As Rebekah is done killing all the vampires except Aya, more members of the Strix appear. But they are easily defeated by her elder sister Freya. However, an unnamed Moroccan Witch locks Rebekah behind a wall, which gives Aya the chance to neutralize her. Before Aya neutralizes Rebekah, she threatens Aya that when she wakes up Aya will be the first person that she'll kill.
