She was called to the Saitou house by Shinichi, who was disguised as Jim Bryce, as Isobel was mutilating herself thanks to the malach possession. When she arrived, she tended to "Jim", who had been hit on the head by Isobel with a lamp. She then planned on taking Isobel, "Jim" and "Inari", who was a disguise for Misao, to the hospital in Ridgemont. However, a falling tree blocked their path and the sound of nearby malach caused Isobel to run into the Old Wood, and Dr. Alpert, "Jim" and "Inari" chased after her.
The three ran into Meredith Sulez, Bonnie McCullough, Matt Honeycutt and Theophilia Flowers and found their way to a fake version of the Flowers boardinghouse, where both Misao and Shinichi revealed themselves.
