Legacies
- There was supposed to be a twist in the final ten-minutes of 2x17[1], which was supposed to air on April 16, 2020.[2] It was written by Ben Raab & Deric A. Hughes[3] and directed by Eric Dean Seaton. [4]
- 2x19 was supposed to be a musical episode,[5] but given that the production halted on March 13[6], it is likely that this episode will be moved to season three. [7] Julie has dubbed the musical as "Salvatore: The Musical" which will showcase an original song, "Hello, Brother," a duet between Chris Lee and Ben Levin. [8]
- Alyssa was supposed on the warpath against Josie in 2x17.[9]
- Hope will get more of a storyline in season three.[10]
- Alaric will have a proper date.[11]
- The "true big bad" will be revealed, eventually.[12]
- "Hope will eventually be a fully realized tribrid, but part of the journey of the series will be getting her there."[13]
- The "Dark Josie" storyline is "closed for now".[14]
Casting News
- Julie would love for both Candice King (Caroline) and Kat Graham (Bonnie) to make a guest star appearance on Legacies.[15]
- Julie loves Sebastian Roché (Mikael) but she would have to figure out the right story for Mikael to appear on Legacies.[16]
- Julie opened up about meeting with Claire Holt (Rebekah) who stated "free any time you want me to come back."[13]
- Leo Howard and Ben Levin have been promoted to regular cast in season three.[17][18]
- Chad was supposed to return in 2x17, freed and "not a zombie".[19]
