The Eight Everlastings are a group of 8 Shamans whom created the spell to make Rayna Cruz into a phoenix stone huntress by sacrificing themselves and placing their souls within her. Their bodies were preserved in death. Each time Rayna dies, one of their bodies becomes rotted away. Only 1 remains which is presumably the leader.
