Welcome to my presentation. I'm supposed to talk about my coven, but I don't have one. And I've always wondered why I don't fit in or why I'm bad at magic. But I've done some research and I think I have an answer. I've been misdiagnosed. I'm not a witch, I'm a fairy. I know it's out there, um, but fairies enjoy honey, they're incredibly tidy, and they love to sing. Uh, just like me.

Wade Rivers is a student at the Salvatore Boarding School for the Young & Gifted who appeared in the third episode of the second season of Legacies.

He states he never knew his parents and that he never was great at magic, which leads him to believe he's not a witch, but a fairy.

Throughout Legacies Series[]

In You Remind Me of Someone I Used to Know, he is one of the players for the Stallions at the annual charity football game. He volunteers to replace Landon as the quarterback but is rejected.

In Since When Do You Speak Japanese?, he lets MG use a video recorder for evidence to show Lizzie that Sebastian doesn't exist. After MG returns the recorder to him, he wonders who MG is talking to, revealing that he can't see Sebastian.

In Screw Endgame, he dresses up as Thomas Magnum for the decade dance. He is first questioned by Landon about a condom, but Landon pauses, saying "never mind" and leaves again. Wade then meets Sebastian, who says that he just needs a friend.

In This is Why We Don't Entrust Plans to Muppet Babies, he attends Coven Day with the other witches and shows a presentation about why he thinks he's not a witch, but a fairy. While being laughed at, he notices a creature, while others can't. He goes to Landon's room with a book in hand and tells him he thinks a qareen is behind why the students are acting the way they are currently. After trying to help, he gets fed up with the insults being thrown about and goes to play a game alone. After Landon tells him he believes in him, they hear people calling Wade's name and they go down the stairs, seeing everyone cheer, clap, and call his name. When he tries to summon his powers to defeat the qareen, he thinks everyone doesn't believe, which leads to Landon taking on the creature to show he does. After this, Wade's fairy wings pop out and defeats the qareen, with everyone cheering and congratulating him.

In What Cupid Problem?, he is outside with Landon, watching as he's trying to fly. He tells Landon he can get him a key to the roof as he's the security supervisor and he'll help believe in him as well. He then attends a meeting with Pedro, Landon, Jed, and Druscilla, to discuss capturing "Cupid". The group heads with Kaleb to the bar and see him feasting on a man's heart, making Wade and the others ill. Wade is then shot by an arrow, causing him to go blind and feeling items to find his way. While still blind, he listens as Landon and Kaleb find information on which erotes they are actually facing, later being revealed to be Pothos. After Pothos is killed, he runs outside to alert Emma and Dorian about the weapons armory being broken into.

In Facing Darkness is Kinda My Thing, he provides a memory for Lizzie's memorial video but doesn't have a positive response, stating that Lizzie held her hand up to him and said "hard pass" for no reason. He later attends the memorial service and laughs as the situation doesn't go well as Lizzie had hoped. After listening to MG talk about Lizzie and sharing his positive memory of her, Wade looks down with a saddened expression.

In We're Not Worthy, Wade encounters the Lady of the Lake when she arrives at the Salvatore Boarding School for the Young & Gifted. Wade introduces her to the other students, citing that she is looking to get possession of the sword he borrowed from Alaric; he reveals that the sword turns out to be the fabled Excalibur. Wade is conflicted about handing over the sword to Nimue, however, and hands it over to MG instead.

In Salvatore: The Musical!, Wade auditions to portray Damon Salvatore in "Salvatore: The Musical." Unfortunately for him, he does not secure the role which goes to Kaleb.

In To Whom It May Concern, Wade returns to the Salvatore School with MG, Kaleb, and Jed after their mid-semester break. Prospective students are visiting and touring the school, but as the tour progresses, slowly they decide to leave. Eventually, he meets Gaby. He learns that he actually already knows her as they've been playing an online D&D campaign for years. Coincidentally, this is the first time they've got to meet in person. Gaby then decides to complete the admissions registration forms and join the school.

In Yup, It's a Leprechaun, All Right, Wade attends the mid-morning assembly. They officially have thirty students enrolled and they retain their ability to stay open as a school. However, with fewer students, they have less tuition. As a school, they've had to cut back, meaning their trips and dances have been canceled. To help with the situation, they've decided to have a fundraiser month to help bring in funds. He's prepared a calendar of events, although, they only have two events planned; a bake sale and a car wash. With news from a city messenger, the school has a property tax lien and owes $91,000 and must pay within the week. Lizzie declares that fundraiser month is canceled and they're combining everything into fundraiser day. Wade helps organize events with the other students. With the arrival of the newest Malivore monster, a leprechaun, the townsfolk flock to the school to spend their money on the various activities at the school. The crowd quickly descends into chaos and into a mob, willing to spend their money on any and everything, forcefully. Wade gets caught in the crossfire and attacked by the mob, though he takes shelter in the school. With torn clothes, Kaleb forces the doors to close with this vampire strength. Fundraiser day is officially canceled.

In Long Time, No See, Wade sits with Jed as they eat. MG attempts to sit and eat with them, but brushes him off with a cold shoulder. He's a bigger pariah than Jed. When Jed stands to leave, he asks if he's coming too. Wade doesn't refuse Jed's offer but apologizes to MG. He believes what he did to Hope and Landon, about hiding the ascendant was messed-up.

Later, the squad comes together to discuss their plan to save Landon from the prison world. Hope wants to go using the planetary transit. MG believes it's not enough time to prepare, but Hope refuses to wait another month. Alaric agrees with all their comments and concerns and doesn't have the 'right' answer. They have to make their own choice in whether or not to help Hope. He explains that he typically tries to avoid these situations that can lead to his untimely demise, however, he and Gaby need their DM for their next campaign. He accepts and wants to join Hope in going to the prison world to save Landon.

In You Can't Run From Who You Are, Wade stands vigilant at the school as many of the students head off for a three day weekend. Josie nearly attacks him, mistaking him for another monster in a suit of armor. He wonders why she's at the school and not at Mystic Falls. She's looking for Lizzie, but he informs her that she left and doesn't know where. He offers to listen if she needs to, but she opts to take the prism from him instead and leaves him.

He continues to guard over the school until Landon needs his and Josie's help with Hope. While in the prison world, they encountered a monster and Hope sent his astral form back to his body. From Landon's description, he tells them that they fought a berbalang. More distressing, he explains that their bites are infectious and Hope's been bitten and it's only a matter of time before she turns into one. Hope stands before them, already beginning the transformation process and attacks them. He, Landon, and Josie make a run for it and barricade themselves in the kitchen. He recalls how this situation is similar to one of their D&D sessions, but Landon doesn't remember. According to the lore, they only have an hour to return Hope to normal before the transformation is complete.

As Hope chases Landon, he attempts to stand up to her using a sword, but she easily overpowered him, knocking him to the floor. Josie, having reclaimed her magic, subdues her as Landon stabs her with an enchanted knife to return her to normal.

Later that night, as Hope joins him and Landon for a round of D&D, he pulls Hope aside to express his concerns. Something is strange about Landon. He completely forgot about his favorite module of a D&D session. He also points out that the berbalang sought him out which is unusual because it goes for dead flesh and hates fire. The thing that really got him was that Landon actually stabbed her, believing that he would never intentionally harm her. He believes that something is wrong with Landon.

In This Feels A Little Cult-y, Mr. Springthorpe announces that he will be Father Capulet for their play, Romeo and Juliet. His scene partner will be Hope, who will play Tybalt. However, Hope is fashionably late to drama class and upon entering declares her negative feelings for the play considering her recent breakup. He dismisses her magical outburst, but lets her leave.

In There's No I In Team, or Whatever, Hope brings together him, Kaleb, MG, Josie and Jed and explains that Cleo shared a memory with her. She explains that if they can find a way to replicate the transfusion spell, then they can transfer Malivore out of Landon. Since MG pointed out that Malivore was trying to splinter them, she's adapting and open to collaboration. The team agrees to the plan and Jed questions if Cleo inspired any blueprints for the spell. That, however, is something they'll have to figure out. Wade inquires about Landon, but either way, they need Malivore out of him.

Later, he and Jed have found the transfusion braid in a reference book and attempted to replicate the braid using shoe strings. The book recommended to use lion's hair. Despite their errors, they'll make it happen and get what they need. While they're doing that, Hope has already figured out who they'll transfer Malivore into.

Preparations are nearly complete and Wade suggests using an anti-magic barrier, but Hope explains that it will block the transfusion ritual. Instead, they'll need a dark object to contain Malivore—a black candle, which he promptly retrieves.

Back in the great hall, Hope performs the transfusion ritual. Wade attempts to keep Malivore, rather Landon, pain free with fairy dust, while Josie warns that she needs to go faster. Hope hesitates, fearing permanent damage to Landon. Jed watches over Ryan, who struggles with the transfer, unable to help. The spell fails and they're expelled from the therapy box. Alaric and Ryan immediately realize they've failed again, adding to the other ten failed simulations. Hope demands to run it again, but Josie counters that they're doing something wrong, eventually allowing Josie to perform the spell.

In We All Knew This Day Was Coming, Alaric and the students celebrates Hope final day alive. Wade and others share stories about Hope, such as she casting a spell on a professor to only speak Sumerian or when she was taken control of by the slug. The celebration eventually comes to an end.

In See You On The Other Side, somewhere in Mystic Falls, Kaleb and Ethan, though controlled by Malivore, go from house to house enthralling townies with black goo. He and Jed follow them, and witness their actions. Eventually, they report back to Alaric, Lizzie, and MG.

Later, he's called in with Finch and Jed as Josie's last line of defense. Jed has the banshee candle and he has a bucket of salt. She asks them to clear out the school and not to let anyone come in or out of her room. No matter what. They accept and clear out.

Continuing to be support for Josie, he and Jed brings items representing Cleo and Landon. He wonders if she had any luck with summoning Landon, but she didn't. She doesn't believe she has the power to do so without going to the darkside. Finch suggests that she can siphon from them. Wade and Jed agree and they all step inside the circle. Josie begins to siphon and casts the spell again.

Josie completes the spell. He, Jed, and Finch sit around her, surprised. She questions if it worked and he motions to her side. Cleo has been pulled from Malivore. They're all happy to see her and Josie is surprised she did it. They all embrace in a hug until Wade asks Cleo asks about Landon. Cleo gives them all a disappointed look.

In I Thought You'd Be Happier To See Me, Wade and the other students hold a candlelight vigil, supporting Lizzie and Josie as Alaric was attacked and in a coma. Finch embraces Josie in a hug and kiss as Jed plays his guitar. After Kaleb and Cleo arrives, he lights their candles. Lizzie embraces Ethan in a hug, then MG before bringing them all together. Kaleb confronts Lizzie and appears to reconcile their differences.

In You're A Long Way From Home, he, MG, Jed, and Kaleb sit inn the back of Ms. Featherwood's class as she calls roll discussing their failed simulations. Jed prefers to die by decapitation as opposed to his heart being ripped out. Wade understands. In one of the simulations, Hope stabbed him in the eye, though it's a fake pain that stays with him. Ms. Featherwood scolds them for chit chatting during her class and continues to call roll, though they quickly return to talking, albeit a bit more hushed. MG wants to try another simulation; he just doesn't know why they keep failing. They're obviously missing something, though Kaleb has already figured that out. They're missing a leader because they were so used to relying on Hope, they never had a plan B. Their simulations are just a taste of what Hope will actually do to them if she returns and they're unprepared. Ethan asks if she'd actually kill them, though, startling them all. He's invisible, still having trouble controlling his powers. Kaleb, using Ethan as an example, believes they need to get back to training and enough with the simulations.

Kaleb, MG, Ethan, Wade, Jed, and Josie organize a training session to hone their abilities. MG and Josie take point and watch as the other boys get into position. Jed wants to follow MG's instructions, citing that Kaleb should create diversion against the fake Hope. Kaleb however, doesn't want to leave the take down to the B-team and moves in first, disregarding Jed. MG has Josie begin the trial and she casts a spell to create mini bursts of lightning. Wade is struck first and MG tells him he's dead and to walk it off. Sidelined, he watches as the others ultimately do just as poor as he did.

In Someplace Far Away From All This Violence, the students begin preparation and set Hope up on a pedestal with a mic and the Truth Sphere, similar to a game show. This is MG's big ploy, Salvatore Idol. Already annoyed, Hope threatens to turn this into Survivor if people begin to sing, alarming some of the surrounding students. MG reassures them that she's joking because they did a covenant spell and can't hurt them physically. There are ten stars representing ten of her friends who are going to perform for her. At the end of each round, she will have to tell them how she feels and the truth orb will keep her honest. She picks up the object, stating this is the dumbest thing she's ever heard of and glows blue, stating that it's working. MG commences with the games and Wade steps up first. He explains to Hope that when he first came to the school, he didn't really fit in with any of the factions, but looked up to Hope because she didn't care about fitting in. She was unique, like when he found out he was a fairy. Hope abruptly interrupts him, calling him Wayne, explaining that all she is feeling right now is irritation, bordering on homicidal rage. This prompts the truth sphere to glow blue, but Wade attempts to continue. Hope stops him again, stating that she was only nice to him because of Landon. Insulting him, she asks why don't he sprout his wings and go back to Fern Gully. The first star bursts into flames and Wade is ushered off the stage. Hope admits she was wrong, this is fun for her.

In Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost, Wade is awoken to a visage of Landon, though he's wearing a sheet covering, claiming to be a ghost. Landon explains that unfinished business has kept him from passing beyond the spectral plane and needs to find Dr. Saltzman. Wade doesn't believe he's a real ghost, otherwise, he'd know where Alaric is. Wade believes this is still a dream as he's dreamed of Landon coming back to the school. Considering he's not doing his therapy appointments with Emma anymore, he also assumes this must be his subconscious trying to make sense of all the traumatic stuff that they've faced lately. Landon assumes that he's talking about his death, but Wade corrects him, as he's not dead. Landon wants Wade to tell him everything.

Later that night, Wade goes to Mystic Falls Hospital and finds Alaric stumbling out of his bed, having recovered from his coma. Alaric doesn't understand why he's here, though Wade explains that Kaleb was his emergency contact and the hospital called the school. He has been monitoring all of the school's phones in his absence. Kaleb is out parking his car and explains that a lot has changed at the Salvatore School. Alaric already knows and will explain once Kaleb arrives.

In Was This the Monster You Saw?, Wade is among the students preparing for Alaric's return to the school. Jed alerts the study body that MG and Alaric are pulling up and they turn off the lights and get into position. Jed and Ben hide behind the confetti cannon, Wade stands behind a large flower vase, while Kaleb and Cleo hide behind the table of food. Cleo questions if this surprise party is the best idea, given Alaric's current health. With their backs turned, Hope appears behind them, noting that Cleo is right and they're going to give him a heart attack. Cleo and Kaleb are surprised to see her and question what she's doing there. Though she's crashing their party, she's here for a business trip. She comes bearing an offer. Wade wants to know what the offer is, but Hope will only talk to Alaric, believing he'll be easier to manipulate.

After Hope's meeting doesn't go as planned with Alaric, she discusses her plans with the remaining squad members; Jed, Ben, Kaleb, Cleo, and Wade. Wade questions about the potential death should they help her, but Hope reiterates that some would die, or it could be all of them. After their meeting, they eventually turn her down, not wanting to get involved.

After Hope breaks Ben's bangle and Jed is attacked by a monster, he and Wade figure out that the monster is a clown. Ben confirms that the picture resembles the monster and questions how one kills a clown. But Hope quips that they don't because she will. Ben confronts Hope about being the one to hurt Jed and employs Dr. Saltzman to let him leave to protect the school. Hope, however, has trapped them all within the ground with a barrier spell and are stuck with the school. Ben reminds her that he's impervious to magic and she cannot hold him here. Hope has another plan and vamps to Ben and breaks his neck. Ben collapses to the floor dead, leaving Wade, MG, and Alaric, surprised.

With a new plan, he, MG, and Kaleb prepare a bonfire and wait for the protoclown to show up, though Hope arrives first, wondering if they've come to their senses. MG wants to work with her because Alaric has found out a lot about it, including that fire attracts it. After mocking them, the Protoclown appears behind Hope and bites her in the shoulder before running off. She collapses to the ground, and believes that MG lied to her. He didn't lie to her about anything. They need her help, just not this version of her. Hope covers her wound, taking some of the poison and fashions them into three needle-like weapons. Using her magic, she poisons them all to make them suffer with her. They all collapse to the ground, succumbing to the poison.

After Cleo kills the protoclown and having confronted his worst memories, he, as well as the others, recover.

In The Only Way Out is Through, Rupert has come with a new device, a Manticulum of his own design. He explains to Wade, MG, and Alaric that it uses algorithmic magic to calculate probabilities. MG specifically wonders how it will help them fight the gods, but Hope explains that, on its own, it can't. She intends to use Wade and run it like a super-accurate D&D campaign while the manticulum will tell them the outcome of any attack or defense. All they need to do is encode their powers into the device.

Kaleb reviews Wade's scores of his and MG's powers. He believes that he's been done dirty by Wade, but he assures him that it's only preliminary guesses, such as that MG's only slightly faster than Kaleb. They'll need to run some tests to confirm the stats. Wade also notes that, given his dragon powers, he has a plus-20 to defense and a plus-40 for offense. In a straight fight, he could definitely beat MG, provided that he catches him. Next on the roster is Ethan; he has the teleportation and intangibility of a Pukwudgie, though believes the invisibility comes from another monster. Professor Vardemus asks for a demonstration, though Ethan still cannot control his powers and cannot teleport across the room. Cleo is up next, though Wade's stat sheet is out of date, given her new circumstances. She tells them she's basically human and though she's not as impressive without using her magic, she still wants to fight. Professor Vardemus commends her courage. Ben would also like to help, though he's forbidden from fighting against his family due to his father's curse. He offers that he can tell them what they would do in a fight and that he should play the side of the enemy in this game. Hope is the last one remaining to test, though she declines. She's had Wade draw up a new, humanity-off, stat sheet. He explains that she's basically the perfect fighter. Hop has incredible magical power levels, unencumbered by morality, with no discernible weaknesses. Her humanity, however, appears to her, noting that she's seeing people who aren't really there.

Professor Vardemus summons a battlefield for their practice session while Hope's humanity continues to appear to her. Rupert explains that vampires can move across the board in one turn and the speed of the gods varies. He has four hidden figures covered in sheets. He took the liberty of creating some automatons for the purposes of their game, using magic to sculpt them. The four automatons are Aurora, Jen, Ken, the father of an entire family of gods, and Lizzie. While Alaric is sure that Lizzie wouldn't fight against them, Rupert explains that to be sure of victory, they must plan for the worst-case scenario. Lizzie is a wild card. Wade comments that he's scored her loyalty to the gods pretty low, and believes that she can still be flipped back to their side. For the game, the two sides will alternate turns, with the Manticulum declaring success or failure of the moves based on the scores they've fed it. Rupert offers to Hope to draw to see who makes the first move. Her humanity appears, offering for her to take the left handed one. Hope, however, goes right and wins the first move.

Alaric and the others proceed with their simulation. Alaric believes that if they could talk to Lizzie, they can flip her back to their side. He believes their first move is getting her to safety. Her humanity tells her that she should listen, and though she believes they would be wasting their first strike, she goes with it. MG vamps to Lizzie though the manticulum calculates that Aurora would attack and kill him. His death turns Lizzie back to their side and she attacks and kills Aurora in a rage. Ben explains that Ken would attack Lizzie and she'd die. With her death, their probability of success drops to zero percent and they lose. Rupert finds this situation fascinating. As soon as Lizzie died, there was simply no move they could make that would lead to victory. He presumes there's a reason she is invaluable to winning. Hope now believes they have to save Lizzie first and wants to run the simulation again.

Rupert and the others run through several more simulations, each time they fail against the gods. Hope's humanity tells her she's going about it all wrong because they've already lost before they made the first move. Analyzing their enemies, Hope realizes the problem is that they're going first. They're facing them all at once and they should be forcing the gods to fight them. Hope declines the first move and Ben sends in Aurora to attack Hope first. Hope creates a barrier that throws Aurora off her feet. Hope sends in Kaleb, using his dragon fire. Aurora is killed and Hope has MG vamp to Lizzie. Ben has Ken attack MG, but Wade reads from the manticulum that he's just fast enough to save Lizzie.

Hope has rejoined the others with Ken, the last remaining on the field. Alaric thinks this is the point that Hope steps in, but Hope would rather send in her pawns first. Hope sends in Kaleb though Ben states that Ken would strike with lightning. Wade concludes that he dies. MG attacks next, though, again Wade explains that he dies. Ben advances Ken to Hope, who sends in Cleo. She too dies. Hope steps up to face Ken, though when pressed about the outcome, Rupert states that the manticulum calculates that she will still lose.

Running through another simulation, Hope has everyone attack Ken. Wade reads off the probability; they all die, but they do real damage against him. She moves in to attack next, though Rupert tells her that she's still not enough and he defeats her. Hope's humanity questions if she needs her help and she barks back, telling her to shut up. The others look at her, questioning the outburst. Hope wants more cannon fodder, questioning how many students there's at the school. Kaleb, however, is finished with the simulations. She's been running them into the buzz saw all day like they're expendable, citing that she only cares about herself. He declares this version of her isn't worth dying for. Wade and Rupert watch as the others walk out of the training session.

Later, per Hope's request, Wade has adjusted her stats, though doesn't see how this is much of a battle upgrade. Rupert believes much remains to be seen. Listening to her humanity, Hope wouldn't send everyone in to weaken him. She'd put herself in danger first because she can take it. She can hold the line for as long as she can, giving them the best chance. She attacks Ken alone. Wade tells her that she does damage to Ken, but he's still standing. Ben believes that his father would call down lightning. Rupert tells her that she's wounded and her life force is down to 70%. Hope continues to attack, drawing his fire, distracting him. Ben's father keeps striking and she's hit again. Her life force drops to 40%. Hope moves into close-quarter combat, inside the reach of his lightning. Wade tells her that her blows do damage, but she's too weak to block his attacks, dropping her down to 30%. Wade tells her that she has to get out of there, but Hope refuses to run. Her vision begins to blur at 20%, but she gets back up. Rupert tells her she has one move left. Kaleb, Jed, MG, Ethan, and Cleo come to her side, taking the next hits for her.

Wade tells them that they score another hit on Ken, but he's confused about what's changed. Rupert believes that Hope is giving them all courage, a belief they can win. Ben believes his father will retreat and ultimately they win, attacking as one. Her humanity tells her that they can win, all she has to do is just turn it back on. She wants her to let her out before she loses control. Hope closes off her humanity once again. All of this isn't real, it's just a stupid game. They're all pathetic and just little boys role-playing war. She calls them all disposable and that they mean nothing to her. She addresses her humanity, calling her a liar and a martyr. The others look on, confused about who she's talking to. Her powers continue to grow unstable, enough that she tells them that they need to do something because she's about to kill them all. She pleads with someone to take her out and Alaric breaks her neck.

in Just Don't Be a Stranger, Okay?, the Salvatore School holds a memorial service for Ethan on the front lawn of the grounds. Lizzie comforts MG, embracing him in a hug. Hope places a single red rose at an altar with his picture. Cleo finds and embraces Kaleb in a hug. Wade also comforts Pedro with a heartfelt hug. Alaric exits the school and watches over all his students mourning their friend's sacrifice.

After the memorial, Alaric calls the students over the PA system to report to the Grand Hall for assembly. He, Pedro, Finch, Hope, Cleo, Kaleb, Lizzie, and MG with all of the other students gathered, Alaric thanks them for being there. He begins with how he made Ethan's mother a promise, just like all of their parents when they enrolled, that he'd care for them as his own. However, they're here memorializing yet another student and that is not what the school was meant to be. The school was founded with a single mission: To create a safe space for young supernaturals. He comes to the conclusion that, in reality, it's anything but safe and achieving his mission statement has proven impossible. He declares that he can no longer keep his promise and informs the students that the Salvatore School must close. Murmurs rattle throughout the students and Hope stands in protest, however, it does nothing to sway Alaric. He has nothing more to say, except that he's sorry, and leaves the Grand Hall, leaving Hope, as well as all the others in attendance, shocked.

Eventually, however, Alaric addresses the school, again, albeit under happier circumstances. He announces that the Salvatore School won't be closing its doors. The students cheer and applaud the news. However, he continues, he will no longer be their headmaster, much to the students' concerned murmurs. He elaborates that the school's founding purpose was to protect them from the world, but now he believes the world will and must get to know them and their abilities. The truth is, they deserve to be known. With their permission, it would be his great honor to tell those stories by writing the definitive history of the supernatural beings he has come to know. So when that battle comes, they will all be better prepared, armed with the stories of the ones that they love, and those who they have lost along the way. He asks if there are any questions or objections and Wade stands. They probably all have the same question, but he asks who is going to be their new headmaster. Alaric promises to keep it in the Saltzman name and points to Caroline. The students turn to find her standing at the top of the stairs, admiring them all.

The next morning, drops off a package with him in the mailroom. He asks where her package is heading and she intends to send it to Josie in Belgium. He jokes if it's ski poles or golf clubs, but in fact it's the only weapon that can kill her. He marks it as "fragile" but she's sure it's going to the right place.

At the start of a new semester, the Salvatore School opens their doors for the next class of supernatural beings to teach them how to be heroes. Wade plays red hands with Pedro until Caroline addresses the students, including Lizzie, MG, Finch, Cleo, and Kaleb, that first impressions last a lifetime. With the gentle reminder that many of them are immortal, she asks if Hope would do the honors. Hope turns and opens the doors, ushering in and welcoming the students home.
