Willoughby is a small town located somewhere in Pennsylvania. It was founded on April 12, 1776.[1]
Events
The town has a Corn Festival. According to Stefan the town is "the creamed corn capital of Pennsylvania."
The town was first seen in American Gothic. Katherine bought a house here and it served as a home to both Elijah and Katherine.
The town is mentioned by Nadia Petrova in Total Eclipse of the Heart to Matt and Tyler in that her mother Katherine had to compel the entire town into being her friends.
In Alone with Everybody Klaus and Hayley went to a bar.
