The Woods is a place in Mystic Falls, near the town's Cemetery.
Season One
The woods were first seen in the Pilot episode at the party where Vicki Donovan is attacked in the woods by Damon. The woods were seen again in the episode Lost Girls when Jeremy, Vicki, and her friends were using drugs. Stefan was shot in the woods by Logan Fell, who had vampire blood in his system and was killed by Damon. In the Fool Me Once, Duke throws a party in the woods, and nearby Grams and Bonnie opened the tomb. In the episode Let The Right One In, while in the woods, Elena saved Stefan as he fought against Frederick. Vicki's body was also found here by Caroline. Miss Gibbons' House is located in the woods, along with the Salvatore Estate.
